LA’s Plushiest Diners

As quickly as we would be to admit that visiting Los Angeles is almost always about hitting the beaches, surfing things up, making new friends and perhaps going to parks and tourist hotspots, we think Los Angeles are pretty serious about good food and authentic cuisine too. People don’t think of coming to Los Angeles for specific food and instead, they are often engulfed in a passion to find something different - Los Angeles is not known as a culinary melting pot for nothing.
Finding a good restaurant in Los Angeles isn’t tough at all, with or without the help of reviewers and critics easily found on the internet, because there is one at every corner of Los Angeles downtown area. The hard part is deciding on a single one to try out.
If you are looking for something fancy, we assure you that it is PRECISELY that that you will find in Spago Restaurant. Chef Wolfgang Puck is a very well-known chef in this corner of the world and he is known to be friends with many celebrity friends hence, if you are really lucky, you might bump into your favorite celebrity while dining out at this upscale restaurant. One would think that a restaurant of this scale would be cold, calculating and pretentious - we were really surprised with the kind of royalty treatment we were given, despite us not being celebrities or anyone famous, for that matter. So, tips hat for being friendly and warm with everyone, including unknowns like us.
Another restaurant deserving of a shoutout from us would be The Stinking Rose Restaurant. Don’t be turned off by the inauspicious name (the owners must have really taken a gamble on the name) because the name came from the fact that most of their dishes features what they love the most - garlic. You get the name now, don’t you? Anyway, the chefs know their way around the freshest ingredients in Los Angeles...this is their feature and marketing tool. Nothing but fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers.
For mouth-watering fanfare with a view, the place to be at would be Red Restaurant and Bar. Suffice to say, being located on top of a hill has its pluses. Located atop San Gabriel Mountains, once you are there, you will be treated to some of the best dishes money can buy, an unrivalled view over Los Angeles and plush atmosphere.
Now that we have that down pat, give us a call if you are organizing a group gathering, corporate meeting, business function, event, family gathering, bachelor or bachelorette party or a birthday bash. We would love to be a part of your event.

The Tech Museum of Innovation

If your kids love science, then you should really think about chartering a San Jose bus and bring the whole family for a day’s of exciting fun in the Tech Museum of Innovation. It will surely be a trip that they will never forget. There have been great reviews and comments on the Tech Museum of Innovation located at 201 S. Market St, San Jose, that if you are still thinking about if you should come here with your family, you really should. We are quite sure that as you may your way there in the San Jose charter bus, the bus driver would be sharing with you all the stories that he has heard from his other passengers on the museum and how much they have loved visiting the museum.

The Tech Museum of Innovation is full of fun and it engages visitors who have come on their own or traveled in a San Jose charter bus, with their exhibits and displays. Who would ever get tired of making their own solar panel arrays or pedal a bike to generate power for household items? Imagine the opportunity of being able to make your own wind and water turbine arrays. These things are somewhat not so available when you are at home. In fact, if you are not sure how to make them, you would not want to try them at home too. Hence, being here in this museum, gives you and your family endless opportunities to learn and do things that you probably have only dreamed of but never dared to try. Admission into the museum also gives you and your family a free screening in their IMAX Theater.

There is always something interesting and out of the ordinary happening at the Tech Museum of Innovation. One of the upcoming events is the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination and the museum hours will be extended during this exhibit. They are expected to open from 10am to 7pm and the exhibition runs from November 29, 2013 to December 1, 2013 and from December 21, 2013 right through to January 5, 2014. However, they are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s days. So, do take note of the closing dates when you are making plans to charter the New Jersey bus, so that you won’t end up being disappointed when you arrive at the entrance of the museum to find that it is not open that day.

Marin Headlands, San Francisco

When it comes to planning outdoor trips, any time is almost a good time to do so, as long as the weather permits. For one who is very active and loves outdoors, trips to parks are one of the best things to do whenever time allows. And if it happens to be a trip with friends who are also like minded, the trip is even more fun and meaningful – not only do you get to spend time outdoors enjoying Mother Nature, you also get to be with your friends and enjoy the precious time together.

Marin Headlands is a beautiful park to go in a San Francisco charter bus with friends and family. It is a great place to go hiking, walking, running or just simply enjoy the beauty of nature and relax. Depending on yours as well as your friends’ preference, you can choose to have the bus driver send the whole group to the top of the Marin Headlands and wait for all of you at the foot of the hill while you hike your way down or vice versa. The main point would be to enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marin Headlands – other than having a great time working out your bodies with hiking, walking or jogging. If you didn’t already know, the view from the top of the Marin Headlands on a clear weather day is simply breathtaking because you get to see the city and the bridge rather clearly. However, there have been times when the weather is a little foggy; hence, the view of the bridge may not be so visible. Nevertheless, we would still say the view is magnificent and to think that creation can be this beautiful simply takes your breath away!

As you already know, a trip to the Marin Headlands will be an outdoor trip in the park, so even though you have the San Francisco rented bus waiting for you to bring you home afterwards, you still need to be appropriately dressed for the occasion – comfortable clothing, shoes and a water bottle are a must for outdoor trips such as this. Surely you would not want to have blisters on your feet at the end of the day, right? And if you and your friends enjoy picnics, this would be a great place for you to bring along your picnic baskets and find a perfect spot to sit down and enjoy your meal while you take in the beauty of Mother Nature!

Discovering the World At The Children's Discovery Museum

Children learn fast. They learn even faster when given the opportunity to explore the world around them. But not every place is a safe place for them to roam safely and wander while exploring the world around without the risks of danger. In San Jose, our new charter buses will be able to bring you and your children for a time of fun with learning in a safe environment at the Children’s Discovery Museum, which is located at 180 Woz Way, San Jose, CA 95110.

Children’s Discovery Museum is a wonderful place for children to learn while playing and exploring and if you are thinking of chartering our San Jose charter bus for a trip to this museum, why not bring along some of your friends’ children too? After all, the more, the merrier! A trip such as this gives the children to learn and play together and who knows - while the children play, their parents will also be able to pick up a tip or two of educational skills that they may want to repeat back home.

Upon arriving at the Children’s Discovery Museum in the San Jose chartered bus, you will quickly notice that the museum is a definitely a great place to take children between the ages of 2 to 10. The museum is also a place where birthday parties are held for children – the staffs there are so good at it that parents literally do not have to worry about anything when it comes to having a birthday party at the museum and the children? Well, they simply have so much fun that they have nothing to complain about the party!

The Children’s Discovery Museum is surely an incredible place for children to explore and learn while they are having fun at the same time. They also have a water area where they have many activities with different themes all through the year, so if you intend to bring the children there, you may want to bring extra change of clothes for them – there is no way kids can stay dry at the sight of a water play area!

The only problem that you may have is that with the amount of fun and exciting things to do at the museum, you may find it a little difficult to convince your little ones to leave and get on our chartered bus when it is time to leave – unless of course, you promise them another trip there soon!

Hearts in San Francisco

San Francisco is the most liberal and cosmopolitan city on the West Coast, and this is reflected in its people, its culture, and its cuisine. A good way to see San Francisco is with a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus chartered from New Charter Bus.  Ride through the streets of San Francisco in style and comfort in your charter bus as your reliable charter bus driver takes you and your to your charter bus destination.
Take your charter bus over to a genuine San Francisco landmark. The Swan Oyster Depot has been in the business of serving fresh seafood since 1912. Behind the marble topped counter, friendly employees shuck fresh oyster that go straight from the tank to the plate. The menu is very much no frills, with steamed crab, shrimp and lobster on offer, but don’t expect any fancy sauces or garnishes. The Swan Oyster Depot is simply about good old fashioned seafood, served fresh and without fuss. Wash your seafood down with some draft beer while sitting on one of the wooden stool, while you soak in the neighborhood ambiance of this down to earth restaurant.
Original Joe’s is one of those rarities in today’s corporate controlled world, a true family owned and operated restaurant. Opening in a new location in 2011 after the original was destroyed by fire in 2007, this iconic Italian restaurant has moved on to new heights. All the nostalgic elements of the original Original Joe’s remain, the comfortable red booths, shaded hanging lamps and tuxedo-ed waiters, but the new interior with soaring ceilings and abundant lighting gives the place a new vibe. The menu is still much the same, serving Italian-American classics that has pleased San Franciscans and charter bus diners for decades. Meatballs in tomato sauce, chicken Parmesan with tender chicken breast, and decadent desserts.
Get into your charter bus for a short to to Nob Hill and alight at the Fairmont Hotel. Take in the panoramic views of the city from the front entrance before heading into the Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar. The Polynesian themed bar is almost 1950s kitsch, and will certainly put charter bus diners in mind of stepping into an adult version of Disneyland's The Pirates of the Caribbean. The lights are dimmed to highlight an array of tiki torches which encircle the central pool, and a huge raft floats around the pool with a live band belting out top 40 tunes for the lively bar. The menu is Pan Asian and Pacific Rim, with dishes such as chicken satay with peanut sauce, Mongolian beef, and lemongrass and fennel crusted butterfish with roasted ginger and scallions. A couple of times an hour the sound of thunder quakes through the room and a mist drops onto the dance floor
For a fun filled, fuss free charter bus journey through San Francisco, give New Charter Bus a call to find out how they can help you plan your charter bus trip. Choose from their selection of fully equipped, comfortable charter buses, and take advantage of their friendly, personalized service.

J. Paul Getty Trust and LACMA – LA Art Museums and Galleries

To say that Los Angeles is a melting pot of culture is quite an understatement in itself – it is more so here than in any other parts of the country and that is because others tend to target Los Angeles because it is considered the land of possibilities, the land of future promises. Hence, it is filled to the brim with people from all walks of life, culture, religion and beliefs. A visit here always opens one's eyes, for your information. You could be heading over in your party bus, charter bus, new bus charter, or your own vehicle, the experience would all be the same – magical.
For one, if you want to get a taste of what Los Angeles has to offer, you would have to, at the very least, visit a couple of the eight hundred and forty one museums and art galleries in LA. Yes, you heard right...there are right about nearly eight hundred and fifty of them in LA and it is a fact that LA has more museums per capita in any other city on the planet. The problem with having so many museums is that it makes it confusing for visitors and tourists when deciding which museum or art gallery to visit – they all have their own charm but here are a few suggestions to get you going.
The J. Paul Getty Trust is one of the largest and wealthiest art institution in the world with more than five billion endowment and the establishment puts the money to good use, of course, which is to promote and introduce art to not just people of LA but to people all around the world. There are two Getty's museum and gallery – one is right smack in the middle of Los Angeles while the other is in Pacific Palisades' Getty Villa.
The other museum that should not be missed would the LACMA which stands for Los Angeles County Museum of Art which is also known as the largest encyclopedia of artwork and exhibits.

Picking The Perfect Wedding Reception Venue In Los Angeles

While there is no lacking in wedding reception destinations in Los Angeles, having too many choices can be quite a headache as well. Well, lady luck is shining for you because we have decided to write about a few of those choices to make the decision-taking process that you are experiencing now less painful.
First and foremost, we love what our new charter bus customers have to say about Descanso Gardens which offer not only spacious outdoor wedding reception area but there is also the indoor setting is almost fairy-tale-like. This is the kind of wedding reception designed just for people who love outdoors...and if you are worried about the weather and how it will ruin your wedding, well...have you not heard or read about how amazing the Los Angeles weather can be? Read up about it and cast your wedding worries aside. Descanso Garden's Zen Garden and Rose Pavillion are so gorgeous that we are not even kidding about that.
The Lobo Castle, on the other hand, calls out to the little Princess girl in all of us. I mean, let's face it, many of us want to be marry a Prince Charming and as much as we try to deny that, the longing lies in a very deep part of our soul. If given a chance, we would want to exchange vows in a castle and live happily ever after. We will deal with reality a little later after that.
The Lobos Castle is available for rental all year round but proves to be a popular wedding reception venue during summer and fall months. While we can take care of your new charter bus rental needs with our packages, the Lobo Castle can handle the catering instead.
Getting married is a big thing so, we are sure there can be lots of built-up tension while organizing it. If you cannot afford to hire a wedding planner, our advice is – don't let the small things get to you...pick your battles and your perfect wedding will be just fine.
